Why Are Your Pets Truly Thankful?

It’s the day before Thanksgiving, so Mittens and I thought this would be the perfect time to tell you why your pets are thankful and what they’re thankful for. We show our thanks to you every day—for taking care of us, making sure we have enough food and water, helping us get plenty of exercise and, most of all, the love and affection we might never have known if you hadn’t brought us into your lives—with smooches and cuddles and friskiness. If nothing else, you can see it in our eyes when we look at you. Here are some other things we’re thankful for:
- The wonderful people who adopt pets from rescue groups and shelters
- The wonderful people who work for and volunteer for animal-support organizations, animal rescue groups and no-kill shelters
- Laws prohibiting chained pets
- Dog parks
- icanhascheezeburger.com
- ID tags
- Table scraps
- Catnip
- Each other!
Mittens and I are particularly thankful for YOU—our friends who stop by here from time to time to see what’s up! If you were here right now, we’d give you big, sloppy, wet kisses right on your face! But since you’re not here…
From all our family at Max & Mittens—
AAAAAAAASmells Like Turkey! We Hope You Have the Best Thanksgiving EVER!
