While I have to applaud the designer’s ingenuity, I must admit that this dog toy made me blush!  And, I hope talking about it today won’t make your face red.  But, when I thought about it, I realized that it’s perfectly natural–No need to be ashamed, so here goes!

Now, if you’re just a pup and way too young for the birds and the bees, you might want to leave the room and let your Mommy and Daddy handle this one.  Yes, that’s right…I’m talking about those little “urges” that can sometimes drive a doggie wild–not to mention the unsuspecting pillow or leg that might just get caught in the deed.  Thanks to a French design firm (Oui, Oui to those romantic Frenchmen), the “Hot Doll” toy for dogs has just been launched in Europe.

According to a company spokesman, “Dogs have sexual needs or domination problems, which push them to climb on various objects such as cushions, teddy bears and, in the worst case, the legs of your neighbors, guest, postman or your own.  Hot Doll is designed to control this problem, and it’s easy to teach them to use it.”  He added, “Its shape and materials allow the product to be stable, to grip on the floor, to be resistant and to have a soft touch.”

Amazing!  But a word of advice–to avoid some “awkward moments” (I’d hate for someone to walk in on you), keep this one in the back just in case.
